Diamond Bridal Jewellery for 2026 Weddings: Sets, Earrings, Bangles and Rings

Nivara lab grown diamond bridal jewellery: a lotus lariat necklace, lotus earrings and a lotus bangle in gold

Updated 4 October 2026

Bridal diamond jewellery works best as a set built from separate pieces in one gold colour: a necklace and statement earrings for the wedding, a bangle for the sangeet, a ring for every day after. Each piece can be worn alone or together. Below is what to wear to each function, and nine pieces from around ₹58,000.

What a bride wears to each function

The main wedding season runs from late November to February, and a bride changes her jewellery as the days change. Families and regions differ, so treat this as a starting plan and adjust it to yours.

Function What to wear Why it works
Mehendi and haldi Small drops or studs, a slim bangle, your ring Light pieces, easy to wear and easy to clean when henna, turmeric and flowers are around.
Sangeet Earrings that move, a bangle that stays put You will be dancing, so choose pieces that catch the light as you move and sit securely.
Wedding The full set: necklace, earrings, bangles and ring, with a mangalsutra if your family wears one The longest day and the most photographs, and the day the pieces are seen together.
Reception One bold piece: long earrings or a tennis necklace An evening outfit can carry a single statement. Let one piece lead and keep the rest quiet.
After the wedding The ring, the bangle and the earrings you liked best These are the ones you will still be wearing next March.

Build the set from separate pieces

A bridal set does not have to arrive as one matched suite. Pieces chosen one at a time and kept in one gold colour read as a set when worn together, and still look finished when worn alone. Three rules hold them together.

  • One gold colour. Choose yellow, rose or white gold and keep every piece in it.
  • One piece that leads. If the necklace is the boldest thing you wear, keep the earrings smaller. If you want long earrings, keep the neckline simple.
  • One motif, if you like. Repeating a shape ties pieces together without matching them exactly. The lotus necklace, earrings and bangle below are three separate pieces from the Flora line that read as one set.

Every Nivara diamond meets one standard, so a piece you add next year matches the one you buy now. If your family wears a mangalsutra, choose it at the same time as the necklace so the two sit together. See our lab grown diamond mangalsutras.

Necklaces

The necklace sets the line of the whole look, so choose it with your neckline in mind: a lariat that falls into a deep neckline, or a line of diamonds that follows a higher one. There are more in our lab grown diamond necklaces.

Sutra round lab grown diamond tennis necklace in gold

Sutra tennis necklace, from around ₹3,25,500. A continuous line of round diamonds set in gold, 3.50 carat in all. Wear it alone with a plain neckline.

Flora Lotus Petals lab grown diamond lariat necklace

Flora Lotus Petals necklace, from around ₹1,91,000. A fine gold chain that falls from a bar of small diamonds into three diamond petals, 2.30 carat in all.

Statement earrings

Earrings frame the face in every photograph, and they are the pieces most easily worn again. Choose drops with movement for the functions where you will dance, and keep the longest pair for the evening. See all lab grown diamond earrings, or the drop earrings.

Vanya lab grown diamond flower drop earrings with a pear diamond in a halo

Flora lotus lab grown diamond bangle with a branch of pear diamonds

Flora lotus bangle, from around ₹2,78,500. A branch of pear diamonds growing towards a lotus flower at one end, 2.15 carat in all.

Mode Forever slim lab grown diamond bangle

Mode Forever bangle, from around ₹3,03,000. A slim bangle set with a continuous line of round diamonds along its face, 1.90 carat in all.

Rings

A bride often wears two rings: a solitaire or halo, and a slim band that sits beside it. Choose them together so they sit flush on the finger. Rings are made to order and come with free resizing within 30 days, so order early enough to check the fit before the first function. See lab grown diamond engagement rings, or wedding ring sets for him and her if you are choosing for two.

Mira round lab grown diamond halo ring with diamonds down the band

Mira classic halo ring, from around ₹85,000. A round diamond inside a halo of small diamonds, with more diamonds down the band, 0.96 carat in all.

Foreva half eternity lab grown diamond band

Foreva half eternity band, from around ₹58,000. A line of round diamonds across the top of the band, 0.59 carat in all. The lower band stays plain gold, so it can be resized more easily than a full circle of diamonds.

Matching the gold

Each piece above comes in yellow, rose and white gold, in 14k and 18k, all BIS hallmarked. Pick one colour for the whole set. Yellow gold sits naturally beside the gold in family jewellery, white gold is the cooler choice and rose gold the warmer one. 18k carries more gold and a richer colour; 14k is the harder wearing of the two.

If you will wear family gold with the diamonds, bring a piece to the showroom and hold the two together in daylight before you decide.

Add to it over the years

You do not have to buy everything before the wedding. Buy what the functions need and add the rest later. Every piece carries a lifetime exchange at 100% of its current gold and diamond value, so a piece can be traded towards a larger one when you are ready.

What a bridal set costs

At Nivara the diamond is priced at ₹50,000 per carat, always VVS clarity, E colour and ideal cut, with the gold and setting added. The Flora lotus necklace, earrings and bangle, with the Mira halo ring, start from around ₹7 lakh together in 14k gold. Prices move with the gold rate. What comes with every piece

  • One diamond standard, whatever the budget: VVS clarity, E colour, ideal cut.
  • IGI certification, and on solitaires the report number laser inscribed on the stone, so the paper and the diamond are one.
  • 14k or 18k BIS hallmarked gold.
  • A lifetime exchange at 100% of the current gold and diamond value, and a lifetime buyback at 100% gold and 85% diamond value.
  • Lifetime polishing, cleaning and prong tightening, for as long as the piece is worn.

Try the pieces together

A necklace, earrings and a bangle look different together than they do one at a time. Frequently asked questions

What diamond jewellery does a bride need?

There is no fixed list. A common core is a necklace, a pair of statement earrings, a bangle and a ring, with a mangalsutra if your family wears one. Build it from separate pieces in one gold colour, start with what your outfits need most, and add the rest later.

What should I wear to the mehendi, sangeet and reception?

Keep the mehendi and haldi light: small earrings, a slim bangle and your ring. For the sangeet, wear earrings that move and a bangle that stays put. For the reception, let one piece lead, such as long earrings or a tennis necklace. Save the full set for the wedding day.

How much does a diamond bridal set cost?

At Nivara the diamond is priced at ₹50,000 per carat, with the gold and setting added, so the cost follows the diamond weight you choose. The Flora lotus necklace, earrings and bangle with the Mira halo ring start from around ₹7 lakh together in 14k gold. Prices move with the gold rate.

Which gold colour should a bride choose for diamond jewellery?

Pick one colour for every piece. Yellow gold is the natural partner for family jewellery, white gold looks cooler against the diamonds and rose gold looks warmer. All three come in 14k and 18k, BIS hallmarked. Before you decide, hold a piece next to your family gold in daylight.

Can I exchange a bridal piece for a larger one later?

Yes. Every Nivara piece carries a lifetime exchange at 100% of its current gold and diamond value. Within 15 days of purchase the full invoice value counts towards the new piece; after that, making charges and taxes are deducted.
