Which size hoop
- Huggies: hold the lobe with no gap. Every day, every outfit, and the natural choice for a second piercing.

- Medium and large hoops: reach towards the jaw and swing as you move. For evenings, or for someone who wears hoops as her signature.

Closures
Diamond hoops usually close with a hinged post that clicks into a notch, which holds firmly and opens only when you open it. Check the click when you try a pair on: it should close with a clear, positive snap. Hoops carry their diamonds on the front, so put them on and take them off by the gold, not the stones.
Studs and hoops together
