Diamond Bracelet Designs for Women: Tennis, Bangles, Cuffs and Chains

A diamond bracelet and solitaire ring on a hand reaching over tea leaves

Updated 4 October 2026

Diamond bracelets come in six designs. Tennis bracelets run a line of diamonds round the wrist. Chain bracelets carry one stone or a motif. Bangles and kadas are rigid, cuffs are open at the back, and floral designs bring flowers to the wrist. Below, real Nivara pieces for each, with how they fit and what they cost.

A bracelet is the diamond you see most. It sits in your line of sight when you type, pour a cup of chai or hold a glass, so choose the one you like looking at. Every piece below is from our lab grown diamond bracelets.

Tennis bracelets

A flexible line of diamonds, each in its own link, that runs all the way round the wrist and closes with a clasp. It is the bracelet that works with a white shirt and with a silk blouse alike. Our tennis bracelet guide goes into carats, settings and fit. Browse all tennis bracelets.

Chain bracelets

A fine gold chain with a diamond or a motif at the centre. The lightest way to wear a bracelet every day, and the easiest to add to later. See more in minimalist bracelets.

Motif chains

A shape set in diamonds sits at the front of the wrist and the chain does the rest.

Anek lab grown diamond infinity bracelet on a fine gold chain

Anek infinity bracelet, from around ₹65,000. A figure eight of round diamonds on a fine gold chain, 0.50 carat in all.

Mode oval solitaire bracelet, from around ₹1,33,500. One oval diamond held in prongs on a fine gold chain, 1.50 carat.

Adjustable bar bracelets

A straight bar of diamonds on a slim band that slides to the fit you want, so it suits a wrist of any size and still looks like it was made for yours.

Bangles and kadas

Diamond bangles

A rigid band that stays where you put it. Slim ones stack and sit beside a watch; a bangle set all the way round is a piece you can wear alone. Browse diamond bangles, and see our bangle size chart before you choose.

Sol slim lab grown diamond bangle with a round diamond cluster

Sol slim bangle, from around ₹83,000. A slim gold bangle with a round cluster of diamonds at its centre, 0.85 carat in all.

Ishar round lab grown diamond tennis bangle set all the way round

Ishar tennis bangle, from around ₹4,22,500. A round bangle set all the way round with diamonds, 6.50 carat in all.

Kadas

The kada is the thicker, sturdier bangle with a long place in Indian jewellery. In diamonds it is worn for weddings and festivals, and it is just as good alone on a plain sleeve at work. Browse all kada bracelets.

Aroha Twine lab grown diamond kada with two diamond bands twisting together

Aroha Twine kada, from around ₹1,63,500. Two bands of small diamonds twist together at the front of a gold kada, 0.63 carat in all.

Mode Ivywhisper lab grown diamond kada with a round diamond at the curl

Mode Ivywhisper kada, from around ₹2,77,000. A line of small diamonds sweeps along a gold kada and curls around a larger round diamond, 2.02 carat in all.

Cuffs

A cuff is open at the back and slips on from the side, so the gap becomes part of the design. A pair of stones at the two ends reads as a deliberate pause. See all cuff bracelets.

Flora open lab grown diamond cuff with pear and round diamond flowers at each end

Flora open bangle, from around ₹1,49,500. An open bangle with pear and round diamond flowers at each end, 1.20 carat in all.

Mode Pear Duo open bracelet, from around ₹1,90,000. An open bangle with a pear diamond at each end and small round diamonds along the band, 1.06 carat in all.

Floral bracelets

A familiar motif in diamonds. Flowers suit a bracelet because the wrist moves, and every petal catches the light at a new angle. Browse floral bracelets.

Flora Wildrose lab grown diamond bracelet with a diamond flower and gold scrolls on a fine gold chain

Flora Wildrose bracelet, from around ₹1,16,000. A diamond flower and gold scrolls set with round diamonds, linked on a fine gold chain, 1.01 carat in all.

Which bracelet for which occasion

Occasion Designs that work Why
Every day, office Chain bracelets, solitaire chains, slim bangles Light, close to the wrist, and comfortable at a keyboard
Dinners, evenings Tennis bracelets, cuffs A line of light that shows when a hand reaches for a glass
Weddings, festivals Kadas, tennis bangles, floral bracelets Weight and presence that hold their own against silk and embroidery
A gift, unsure of her wrist Adjustable bar bracelets, solitaire chains The bar slides to fit, and a single diamond goes with what she already wears

Settings that suit a bracelet

  • Prong: small claws hold each stone and let light in from the sides. The classic for tennis bracelets and solitaire chains.
  • Bezel: a rim of gold all the way round each stone. It sits low and has few edges to catch on a sleeve, which suits every day wear.
  • Halo: a ring of small diamonds around a centre stone, so a single station looks larger.
  • Pavé: many tiny diamonds set close together so the surface glows. Common on slim bangles and cuffs.
  • Channel: stones held between two strips of gold with no prongs between them, for a smooth, continuous line.

Tennis bracelets add a fourth choice, the buttercup, which our tennis bracelet guide compares with prong and bezel.

Finding your size

Design How it fits Measure this
Chain and tennis bracelets Closes with a clasp and sits on the wrist Your wrist, snug, then add about half an inch (1.3 cm)
Adjustable bar bracelets Slides to the fit you want Your wrist, and we confirm it sits within the adjustable range
Slip on bangles, including tennis bangles A closed circle that passes over the hand Your hand across the knuckles, matched to a bangle size
Hinged bangles and cuffs Opens around the wrist or slips on from the side Your wrist, along with your usual bangle size
Kadas We confirm the fit for each design Your bangle size and your wrist

Our wrist size guide shows three ways to measure at home and lists bracelet sizes for women: petite 5.5 to 6 inches, average 6 to 6.5 and large 6.5 to 7. For bangles, use the Indian sizes in our bangle size chart.

Wearing and stacking

Bangles stack best when they share a size, so they move together. Wear two slim diamond bangles as a pair, or one diamond bangle between plain gold ones, with the widest piece closest to the hand. Pair a chain bracelet or a slim tennis bracelet with a bangle and each keeps its own line.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a bangle, a kada and a cuff?

A bangle is a rigid circle, either closed so it slips over the hand or hinged so it opens around the wrist. A kada is the thicker, sturdier bangle with a long place in Indian jewellery. A cuff is open at the back and slips on from the side. A tennis bracelet is different from all three: a flexible line of diamonds that closes with a clasp.

Which diamond bracelet is best for everyday wear?

A fine chain bracelet with one stone or a small motif, a slim bangle, or a tennis bracelet with low settings. They sit close to the wrist and move with it. Take any bracelet off for the gym and before using cleaning chemicals, and bring it in for cleaning now and then so the settings are checked.

How much does a diamond bracelet cost?

Every diamond at Nivara is VVS clarity, E colour and ideal cut, so the price follows the total carat weight, the number of stones and the gold. In 14k gold, chain bracelets start from around ₹35,000, tennis bracelets from around ₹1,29,000 and kadas from around ₹1,63,000. Prices move with the gold rate.

What size diamond bracelet should I buy?

For a chain, tennis or other clasp bracelet, measure your wrist snugly and add about half an inch, 1.3 cm. For a slip on bangle, measure your hand across the knuckles and match it to the Indian bangle size chart. Hinged bangles and cuffs go by the wrist. Share both measurements and we confirm the fit for the design you choose.

Which diamond bracelet makes a good gift?

If you do not know her wrist size, an adjustable bar bracelet slides to fit, and a fine chain with a single diamond goes with everything she wears. For a milestone, choose a tennis bracelet or a kada. Every Nivara bracelet carries a lifetime exchange at 100% of its current gold and diamond value, so she can always choose again.
