What is a radiant cut, and how is it different from an emerald cut?
A radiant has the rectangular outline and cut corners of an emerald, but underneath it is faceted as a brilliant. So you get the elegant elongated shape of a step cut with the fire and scintillation of a round. It is the shape people choose when they want the emerald silhouette but find a true step cut too restrained.
Does this collection hold anything other than rings?
Yes. How much does a radiant cut ring cost?
The diamond is ₹50,000 per carat at VVS clarity and E colour, the same rate for every buyer, and setting and metal are charged on top according to design. Why does a radiant cut hide inclusions well?
The brilliant faceting scatters light in many directions at once, and that busy optical pattern masks small imperfections that a step cut would put on open display. In practice this matters less at Nivara because every diamond is VVS clarity and E colour to begin with, verified by IGI with the report number laser inscribed on the girdle and cleared through 27 quality checks.
What is a Toi et Moi ring?
Toi et Moi means you and me. It is a two stone design where the diamonds sit side by side on the band, traditionally representing two people. In this edit you will find a radiant paired with a pear and a radiant paired with an asscher, so the two stones differ in shape as well as position. Each is made to order in about three weeks in 14K or 18K BIS hallmarked gold.
Can I exchange a radiant piece for a different shape later?
Yes. The lifetime exchange returns 100% of the current gold value and 100% of the current diamond value against any other Nivara piece, whatever the shape. Making charges and taxes are waived within 15 days of purchase and deducted after. The lifetime buyback returns 100% of the current gold value and 85% of the current diamond value, with making charges and taxes always deducted.
