How to buy a diamond gift this week
Pieces ordered from our website usually take 18 to 20 days to deliver, depending on the design. That is the reason the online route has closed for this Diwali. Our showrooms are the way in now, and it takes four steps.
- Message or call the nearest showroom today. The numbers are below.
- Say your budget and who it is for. A wife, a mother, a sister, or yourself.
- Ask what is ready to take home. More than 2,500 designs are in the showrooms, and the team will show you the ones that match.
- Reserve it. Ask them to hold the piece for you, then collect it on the day you choose. If you cannot get to a showroom, ask about delivery: stock pieces can be delivered within 48 hours.
Hours on Dhanteras and Diwali can differ from a normal day, so ask when you call. Everything is lab grown diamond jewellery of one standard, whatever the budget: VVS or IF clarity, D or E colour, ideal cut and an IGI report.

The pieces below show the kind of design to ask for in each band. They are examples, not a stock list. Whether a particular piece is ready today depends on the showroom, so ask which designs are ready before you set your heart on one. Prices are from around, for 14k gold, and move with the gold rate. Every piece is also made in 18k.
Under ₹50,000: studs and a pendant she will wear every day
This is the band for a single, well held diamond. Studs go with every outfit she owns, from the evening puja to the office the next morning, and a pendant sits at her collarbone all day. More to see in diamond studs and lab grown diamond pendants.
Thea Mellow Vow studs, from around ₹18,000. A round diamond set in a gold disc, held by four small prongs on its rim, 0.21 carat across the pair.
Amaya pear studs, from around ₹34,000. A pear shaped diamond in each ear, framed by a curl of gold, 0.30 carat across the pair.
Thea round solitaire pendant, from around ₹46,000. A single round diamond held in four prongs, 0.40 carat. The product page states which chain comes with it.
₹50,000 to ₹1 lakh: a mangalsutra or a fine bracelet
If she wears a mangalsutra every day, a diamond one keeps the black beads and adds a centre she can wear to work as well as to the puja. A fine bracelet is the quieter choice. See more diamond mangalsutras and lab grown diamond bracelets.
Foreva Forever Vow mangalsutra, from around ₹62,000. Black beads on a gold chain, a gold infinity loop set with small diamonds at the centre and a pear diamond drop on each of two fine chains below, 0.22 carat in all.
Mira Halo Vow bracelet, from around ₹59,000. A fine gold chain with a round disc of small diamonds at its centre, 0.53 carat in all.
₹1 lakh to ₹2 lakh: larger diamonds
At this level the diamonds grow: studs of more than a carat across the pair, or a tennis bracelet of two carats. Both are pieces to keep for years, and both can be exchanged later at 100% of their current gold and diamond value. See more lab grown diamond earrings.
Mira halo studs, from around ₹98,000. A round diamond in each ear ringed by small diamonds, 1.22 carat across the pair.
Sutra tennis bracelet, from around ₹1,25,500. A single line of round diamonds in three prong settings, 2.00 carats in all.
Above ₹2 lakh: a piece for the occasion
For a gift she will wear to every wedding and festival to come, ask the showroom what is ready in necklaces, mangalsutras and statement pieces. The design below shows the kind of piece to ask about.
Aarya Heritage Bloom mangalsutra, from around ₹1,98,000. Black beads that run into a V shaped front of small diamond flowers, with a pear shaped diamond drop at the point.
Buying it together, or for yourself
A last minute gift does not have to be a surprise. Bring her to the showroom, let her try the pieces on and choose the one she reaches for. A piece she picked is one she puts on without thinking. And if the gift is for you, Dhanteras is as good a day as any to walk in and choose your own. What to ask before you buy a diamond gift
A gift like this calls for plain answers, in writing. These are six questions to ask any jeweller, with how Nivara answers each.
- Is there a certificate, and does it match the stone? Ask for the report number and check it against the diamond. On Nivara solitaires the number is laser inscribed on the stone.
- Is the grade the same across the range? Ask for the exact grade of each piece, not a range. Nivara uses one grade for every piece.
- Is the price published, and what is it made of? At Nivara a solitaire of 1 carat or more is ₹50,000 per carat in a round and ₹55,000 per carat in any other shape, and smaller diamonds begin at ₹32,000 per carat. Gold and setting are added.
- What is written down about exchange and buyback? Ask for both in writing. At Nivara the exchange counts the full invoice value within 15 days of purchase; after that, making charges and taxes are deducted.
- Can I see it and take it today? Ask what is ready to take home and what is not, and when anything else could reach you.
- What happens after the sale? Ask who polishes, cleans and tightens the prongs, and for how long.
Houses answer these questions differently. Our guide to the best lab grown diamond brands in India sets out eight questions to put to any brand and assesses ten brands, so you can test any jeweller, ours included.
What comes with every piece
- Solitaires in VVS or IF clarity, D or E colour and ideal cut, with hearts and arrows in every round. Smaller diamonds in VVS or VS clarity, E or F colour.
- IGI certification, and on solitaires the report number laser inscribed on the stone, so the paper and the diamond are one.
- 14k or 18k BIS hallmarked gold.
- A lifetime exchange at 100% of the current gold and diamond value, and a lifetime buyback at 100% gold and 85% diamond value.
- Lifetime polishing, cleaning and prong tightening, for as long as the piece is worn.
Frequently asked questions
Can I still buy a diamond gift for Diwali 2026 if I have not ordered yet?
Yes, through a showroom. Pieces ordered from our website usually take 18 to 20 days to deliver, depending on the design, so that route has closed for Dhanteras on Friday, 6 November and Diwali on Sunday, 8 November. More than 2,500 designs are ready to take home across our showrooms in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Indore and Ahmedabad, and stock pieces can be delivered within 48 hours.
How do I find out which pieces are ready to take home?
Call or message the nearest showroom, say your budget and who the gift is for, and ask what is ready today. Name a piece from this page if you like it, and ask whether that design or one close to it is in stock. The showroom confirms what is available and can reserve it for you.
What can I buy for a Diwali gift under ₹50,000?
Diamond studs start from around ₹18,000 in 14k gold, pear shaped studs from around ₹34,000, and a solitaire pendant from around ₹46,000. Every Nivara solitaire is VVS or IF clarity, D or E colour and ideal cut with an IGI report, so the budget changes the size and the design, never the quality.
What if she does not live near a showroom?
Message the showroom nearest to you or to her, and ask whether the piece you want can be delivered, and by when. Stock pieces can be delivered within 48 hours. We also hold video consultations anywhere in India, so you can see the pieces and choose together before you decide.
What should I check before I buy at the last minute?
Ask for the IGI report and check that it matches the diamond, ask for the price with the diamond on its own line, and ask what is written down about exchange and buyback. At Nivara the exchange is lifetime at 100% of the current gold and diamond value, and a ring can be resized free within 30 days if the size is not quite right.
