Yellow Gold Rings

Tradition, brought up to date. Nivara's yellow gold lab-grown diamond rings set IGI-certified diamonds in BIS-hallmarked yellow gold, the metal of Indian heritage and the one that has framed fine jewellery for generations. Worn today in clean, modern settings, it reads as heirloom and contemporary at once.

Each ring is made to order in 14K or 18K yellow gold in about three weeks, fully insured, and protected for life by Nivara's care, returns, and exchange. The same designs are available in rose gold and white gold.

For help pairing metal with diamond shape, read the jewellery buying guide, or explore yellow gold across our engagement ring collection.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why choose yellow gold for a diamond ring?
Yellow gold is the traditional choice in India and it warms the whole piece, giving the diamond a softer, richer surround rather than the clinical contrast of white metal. It also never needs replating, unlike white gold which is rhodium plated and dulls over years. This edit runs to 290 designs, from the Veer men's solitaires to the Mode cluster rings.
Should I pick 14K or 18K yellow gold?
18K is 75% pure gold, so the yellow is deeper and it holds more intrinsic gold value. 14K is 58.5% pure, which makes it a harder alloy that resists scratching and bending better, so it holds a fine pave setting more securely over years of daily wear. Both are BIS hallmarked. If the ring is for everyday, 14K is the more practical choice. If you want colour depth and gold value, choose 18K.
Does yellow gold make a diamond look less white?
It can, on a lower colour grade, because the metal reflects warmth up into the stone. That is precisely why colour grade matters more in yellow gold than in white. Every Nivara diamond is E colour, which is in the colourless range, so it holds its whiteness against a yellow setting rather than picking up a tint.
What does a yellow gold ring cost here?
The range is wide, from about ₹16,000 to about ₹5,23,000 across 290 designs. The diamond is ₹50,000 per carat at VVS clarity and E colour, the same rate for every buyer. Metal and setting are additional. Because the metal is a real component of the cost, gold weight and karat move the final price more on a broad band than on a slim solitaire.
How do I keep yellow gold looking new?
Yellow gold does not tarnish, but it does pick up fine surface scratches that build into a soft patina over time. Wash it in warm water with a drop of mild soap, dry with a lint free cloth, and keep it away from chlorine and from bleach based cleaners, which attack the alloy metals. Any Nivara showroom will polish and check the setting for you.
Do I get the full gold value back if I exchange?
Yes. The lifetime exchange returns 100% of the current gold value and 100% of the current diamond value against another Nivara piece, with making charges and taxes waived within 15 days of purchase and deducted after. The lifetime buyback returns 100% of the current gold value and 85% of the current diamond value, with making charges and taxes always deducted.
