Frequently Asked Questions

Why are round brilliants the standard for diamond earrings?
A round brilliant is engineered to return the maximum possible light, and in an earring the stone is seen from constantly changing angles as the head moves, which is exactly the condition a round performs best in. Rounds also match to each other more reliably than fancy shapes, and a mismatched pair is instantly visible in a way that a single ring stone never is.
How large is the round diamond earring range?
109 designs, our largest earring edit, dominated by studs from the Mode line including Dovetail, Acumen, Magnet and Centerpoint, alongside the Flora Vinecurl studs and a range of round diamond hoops and drops. Prices run from about ₹22,000 to about ₹3,73,000.
How do you make sure a pair of diamonds actually matches?
Every Nivara diamond is cut to the same standard, ideal cut and hearts and arrows precise, VVS clarity and E colour, so the pair is drawn from a consistent grade rather than matched by eye from mixed stock. Each stone passes 27 quality checks and is IGI certified with its report number laser inscribed on the girdle, so both stones in a pair are independently documented.
How is the price calculated for a pair?
The diamond is ₹50,000 per carat for VVS clarity and E colour, the same rate for every buyer. Note that carat weight in earrings is usually quoted as the total across both stones, so a one carat total weight pair holds two half carat stones. Metal and setting are additional and depend on the design.
What size stud is right for everyday wear?
Smaller stones sit flush against the lobe and stay comfortable through a full day and under a phone against the ear, while larger stones sit further forward and are more noticeable. Since earring carat weight is split across two stones, a total weight that sounds modest often presents better than expected. Try sizes on at a showroom, because lobe size changes how a given stud reads considerably.
How should I care for diamond studs worn every day?
Clean them weekly in warm water with a drop of mild dish soap, using a soft brush on the back of the setting where hair product and body oil collect. That film behind the stone is what dulls a stud, not damage to the diamond. Dry with a lint free cloth and check the backs are seated firmly each time you put them on.
