What qualifies as an exceptional piece?
These are 13 designs selected for the complexity of their making rather than for a theme, spread across rings, earrings, pendants and bracelets. What do exceptional pieces cost, and why?
From about ₹70,000 to about ₹2,74,000. Every diamond is charged at ₹50,000 per carat for VVS clarity and E colour, the same rate for every buyer, with setting and metal additional. These pieces sit at the higher end principally because of setting labour, since designs like the Toi et Moi and the pave detailed cushion involve far more hand work than a plain solitaire.
Are these one of a kind pieces?
They are made to order rather than limited to a single example, so you are not competing with anyone else to secure one. Each takes about three weeks to make, in 14K or 18K BIS hallmarked gold, in the metal colour and karat you choose, and is shipped fully insured.
Does the quality standard differ from the rest of the site?
No, and that is worth being clear about. Every Nivara diamond, in this edit or anywhere else on the site, is VVS clarity, E colour and ideal cut, hearts and arrows precise, through the same 27 quality checks, IGI certified with the report number laser inscribed on the girdle. What distinguishes these pieces is the design and the making, not a different grade of stone.
