Necklace
A diamond necklace is one of the few pieces of jewellery that a woman wears at her own eye level in a mirror and at everyone else's eye line in a room. Nivara's diamond necklace collection brings both pendant-style and diamond-set chain designs together in IGI-certified lab-grown diamonds and 18K BIS-hallmarked gold. The range is deliberately broad because the decision about what belongs at your neckline is yours alone. A pendant-style necklace is a focal point. A diamond-set chain is a constant shimmer, something that works harder the more time you spend in it. Some of the pieces here are quiet and worn daily. Others are for the rooms that ask you to arrive. Both are made to the same standard. Whatever the occasion and whatever your instinct, there is a necklace in this collection that was made for exactly how you intend to wear it. Visit our showrooms in Hyderabad, Bangalore, or Indore to hold the pieces and understand how they sit, or explore the full range and reach us on WhatsApp with any questions.

Frequently Asked Questions

What kinds of necklace are in this collection?
32 pieces, weighted towards designs where the diamonds run along the chain rather than hanging from it. It includes the Sutra pear diamond tennis necklace, the Mode round diamond tennis necklace, the Mode elegant round curved necklace, the Mode three stone round drop necklace and the Sol round solitaire necklace with small round diamonds.
What is a tennis necklace?
A continuous line of diamonds of matched size set all the way around the neck, each stone individually mounted in its own setting and linked to the next so the whole line stays flexible and follows the neck. It is the necklace equivalent of a tennis bracelet. It carries far more diamond weight than a pendant, which is the main reason for the price difference.
Why do necklace prices vary so widely here?
The range runs from about ₹26,000 to about ₹6,91,000, the widest span of any of our necklace edits, because it holds both single pendant style pieces and full tennis necklaces. The diamond is ₹50,000 per carat for VVS clarity and E colour, the same rate for every buyer, with metal and setting additional. A tennis necklace carries many carats, and that is what drives the upper end.
How do I know every diamond in a tennis necklace is properly graded?
Nivara does not use a lower grade for the many small stones in a line piece. Every diamond is VVS clarity, E colour, ideal cut and hearts and arrows precise, through 27 quality checks, IGI certified with the report number laser inscribed on the girdle, with a light performance report grading brightness, fire and contrast. This is precisely where quality shortcuts usually hide in the trade, so it is worth asking.
Is a tennis necklace secure enough to wear out?
A well made one is, but it is the piece that most rewards a periodic check, because a line necklace has many links and one clasp, and any of them can wear over years. Have it inspected at any Nivara showroom in Hyderabad, Bangalore or Indore, open 7 days a week from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. Every piece clears 27 quality checks before it ships.
How long does a necklace take to make?
About three weeks, made to order in 14K or 18K BIS hallmarked gold in the colour and karat you choose, then shipped fully insured. A tennis necklace involves setting each stone individually, so it is genuinely built for you rather than taken from stock.
