What is in the gifting edit?
288 pieces chosen because they work as a gift, meaning they do not require you to know a ring size or a precise preference. It skews towards studs and earrings, with 76 rings, 71 pairs of earrings and 21 bracelets among them, including the Mode Gleamline and Gablework studs, the Thea Mellow Vow, Sundrift and Linenlight studs and the Flora Petalwake studs.
Why are earrings the safest thing to gift?
Because there is no size to get wrong. A ring needs a measurement you may not have and cannot easily ask for, and a bracelet needs a wrist size. Studs fit anyone, are worn by most people daily, and stay appropriate whatever the occasion. That is why this edit leans towards them.
What do pieces in the gifting edit cost?
From about ₹13,000 to about ₹50,000 across the 288 pieces, a deliberately narrow band chosen so the whole edit works as a gift. The diamond is ₹50,000 per carat for VVS clarity and E colour, the same rate for every buyer, and the metal and setting are additional.
Is the quality lower because these are gifting pieces?
No, and this is worth being explicit about. Every diamond in this edit is VVS clarity, E colour and ideal cut, hearts and arrows precise, through the same 27 quality checks as any other piece, IGI certified with the report number laser inscribed on the girdle, with a light performance report grading brightness, fire and contrast. The gold is 14K or 18K BIS hallmarked.
How long should I allow before the occasion?
At least three weeks. Every piece is made to order rather than held in stock, and that lead time is longer around peak wedding and festive periods. Delivery is fully insured. If you are ordering for a specific date, say so at the point of purchase.
What if the recipient wants something different?
The lifetime exchange is the route to use, and it returns 100% of the current gold value and 100% of the current diamond value against another Nivara piece. Making charges and taxes are waived if the exchange happens within 15 days of purchase and deducted after that, so it is worth acting promptly if the piece is not right. Separately, if it arrives damaged, defective or not as described, report it within 7 days and we will assess it case by case, with any refund processed in 6 to 8 days.
