How to measure your Wrist Size (for women and men)?
Knowing the right wrist size is essential when buying a bangle or bracelet. Here’s a detailed guide to help you easily measure your wrist size from the comfort of your home.
Let’s see how you can do that!
Method 1: Using a Measuring Tape
- Wrap a flexible measuring tape around the wrist where you want to wear the bracelet.
- Note the measurement in inches or centimeters and keep the tape snug but not tight.
- Tip for Women: Consider adding 0.5 inches (1.27 cm) to the measurement for a more relaxed fit.
- Tip for Men: Consider adding 0.75 inches (1.9 cm) to get a slightly looser fit because it is usually preferred for men's bracelets.
Method 2: Using a Strip of Paper or String
- Wrap a strip of paper, string or ribbon around your wrist.
- Mark where the ends meet.
- Measure the length against a ruler to get your wrist circumference.
- Adjust for fit by adding a bit of extra length based on your style preference (fitted, average or loose).
Method 3: With a Bracelet Size Chart
- Download or print a bracelet sizing chart. Make sure to print it at the correct scale to get accurate measurements.
- Lay the chart on a flat surface.
- Place your wrist directly on the chart, aligning it with the start point or "0" on the size scale.
- Read the measurement that lines up with the end of your wrist on the chart. This is your wrist circumference.
- The chart will have recommended bracelet sizes based on the wrist circumference you measure.
-
Once you have the adjusted measurement, select the closest bracelet size available.
